The Client Application Engineer (CAE) is a solution and business expert responsible for working with client success to ensure successful adoption and utilization of nThrive technology solutions. The CAE will provide product training (both ad hoc and formal client trainings), best practice recommendations, process development and problem solving on any client issues within their solution suite.The key focus of the CAE will be to problem solve client needs, drive product adoption, utilization and best practices for our clients.


  • Serve as escalation point for the application for assigned clients.
  • Identifies and closes gaps in client training needs.
  • Involved starting with the implementation process to ensure continued adoption post production.
  • Maintain and execute technology service client communication plan with identified key stakeholder groups.
  • Produce client metrics (leading/lagging), maintain action plans, and routinely review with client.
  • Proactively monitor daily product health (processing, exports, imports, etc.) in addition to analyinge leading/lagging metrics and develop/execute action plans to optimize performance of product and engagement with clients on a regular basis to drive deeper utilization of the product within the client’s business. (Improve adoption and consumption).
  • Complete annual training required to achieve and maintain expert level status on product, workflow and configuration in addition to product pulse checks and onsite visits.
  • Remain up to date on industry changes that relate to solutions and the services provide.
  • Perform root cause analysis on client adoption issues.
  • Drive successful solution integration into client workflow.
  • Participate or prepare for quarterly business reviews.


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years work experience in technology support and/or client management, in a healthcare environment. 
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry – revenue cycle management knowledge and/or operational experience required
  • Customer service skills (written and verbal communication skills, listening skills, customer orientation), ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external clients, as part of a solutions based team
  • Accountable for outcomes, action oriented
  • Computer knowledge including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
