The Patient Access Supervisor is an extension of the management team. The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for interviewing patients in an above average accurate and time efficient financial clearance process. Ensures HIPAA standards are adhered to and followed in accordance to the System policy. The Patient Access Supervisor attends, prepares materials and actively participates in facilitation of mandatory monthly staff meetings, new hire training, in-services and continuing education sessions. Takes personal responsibility to stay abreast of current policies and procedures, as well as maintains expertise proficiency in all Patient Access technologies. Provides excellent service at all times.The Patient Access Supervisor is certain compliance with government and Benefis procedures are maintained.
