  • Overview

    The Director, Data Insight will report to the Senior Vice President, Data Insights and will help lead the sales and business development functions essential for the success of the product. They are a subject matter expert of the healthcare data ecosystem with a clear understanding of the nThrive strengths and market differentiators. They know how to prioritize opportunities and when to partner with others in order to deliver a compelling offering.

    Responsibilities

    • Help grow and lead the Data Insights sales team
    • Achieve growth and revenue targets for Data Insights through a consultative sales approach that solves client business issues
    • Develop and execute a sales management strategy with sales plan metrics designed to create accountability and meet company revenue goals
    • Manage the sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals
    • Prospect and close relationships with key target clients
    • Create and present client proposals that result in winning sales
    • Gather market and client intelligence.  Monitor trends and provide strategic product feedback
    • Identify unmet market needs and recommend product features to enhance the product offering
    • Oversee data partnership programs to compliment the nThrive data assets and expand our offering
    • Drive a “lean startup” style environment of constant experimentation and learning

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 7+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
    • 3+ years of experience in big data
    • A successful salesperson, with presentation and writing skills, who acts with a sense of urgency, and able to work both independently and within a team environment
    • Proven track record in healthcare data sales
    • Proven ability to negotiate favorable pricing and legal terms on high-value deals
    • Experience with executive communication and presentation skills that drive client results
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals and personalities in a team environment
    • Through knowledge of the healthcare data ecosystem
    • Results/metric-oriented, effective decision maker with ability to prioritize complex organizational objectives and meet aggressive timelines
    • Ability to provide targeted communication (written and verbal) to internal and external constituents
    • Experience using CRM software
    • Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook
