Overview

 The Programmer Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting highly scalable data warehousing solutions and expected to work with the latest Microsoft BI tools to create solutions that meet internal and external stakeholders’ business needs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop SQL databases.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop highly scalable solutions and make recommendations to help solve problems or improve processes.
  • Understanding and working with multiple data sources to meet business rules and supports analytical needs.
  • Write applications to interface with SQL databases.
  • Write, test, and trouble-shoot SQL code.
  • Design tables, stored procedures, views and functions.
  • Complete SQL query performance optimization.
  • Ensure that development standards and processes are adhered to.
  • Create analytical solutions using Microsoft Excel.
  • Work with large SQL data sets.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with data warehouses in MS Sql Server.
  • 3+ years’ experience on SQL Server Integration Services or other ETL tools
  • 3+ years’ experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting OLAP cubes.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of OLAP technologies, and dimensional modeling.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Time management skills and ability to multitask among projects.
  • Extrapolate database schema to meet the business needs of the application.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthcare industry
  • Microsoft Azure platform & Data Lake architecture
