    As a Support Engineer you will work cross functionally with our colleagues in IT, Data Warehouse, Advisory, and other teams to coordinate work. You will handle case load and resolve issues to ensure platform and product excellence. You’ll have the unique opportunity to provide technical support while shipping code and contributing your own technical expertise across our stack to empower health care for every one in every community.


    • Assist colleagues and customers in resolving support cases with nThrive Analytics over email and Salesforce Service Cloud.
    • Identify and fix bugs in the nThrive Analytics codebase.
    • Build and maintain internal tools that empower Engineering and our many colleagues around the globe.
    • Create and improve documentation to help customers and colleagues help themselves.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Employee Handbook, as may be amended from time to time. Adheres to all applicable laws and regulations and the company's governance/compliance program.
    • Responsible for reporting violations of the company's policies and procedures, Standards of Business Conduct, governance program, laws and regulations through the company's Help Line or other mechanism that may be available at the time of the violation. Assists with internal control failure remediation efforts.
    • Become knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction. Responsible and accountable for internal control performance within their area of responsibility. Participate in the internal controls self-assessment process.
    • Ensure concerns with internal control design or performance and process changes that impact internal control execution are communicated to management.
    • Empathy - You’ll be working with directly with customers and colleagues who are working in nThrive Analytics. You’re able to put yourself in their shoes and help point them in the right direction—whether that means sending a link to relevant documentation or explaining a more complex concept in clear terms.  
    • Analytics and Code - You are proficient in reading, writing, and shipping code across the stack and genuinely enjoy making and maintaining software. You’ve worked with analytics platforms and have a fundamental understanding of data pipelines, data visualization, and full-stack web app development.  
    • Problem Solving - You enjoy being presented with situations that don't have an immediately obvious answer and relish finding the solution. You are excited, not intimidated, by problems you don't know the answer to. You love applying the things you have learned to unfamiliar situations in order to see the deeper patterns that connect seemingly disparate issues.  Continuous Improvement - You are constantly looking for ways to use become more efficient and improve existing processes. If a process is slowing you down, you're not afraid to suggest improvements. If internal tooling could speed you up, you're willing to get into the code to build or improve it.  
    • Communication and Variety - You would enjoy a multifaceted role that interacts with a wide variety of people, topics, and issues. The idea of seeing something new and different every day is invigorating. You are able to learn and act quickly to keep up with rapidly changing and sometimes unfamiliar situations. You can communicate effectively to surface details and breakdown symptoms to find the root cause.


    • You have written and shipped web apps using multiple stacks, primarily MERN, with familiarity in PHP, MySQL, and MS SQL.
    • You have a minimum of three years of experience in either full-stack web development or a customer-facing support engineer role.
    • You have strong verbal and written communication for varied audiences.
