Overview

The Product Manager, Education Solutions reports directly to the President of Education and Analytics and is responsible for the management of our product strategy, development, and deployment of our industry-leading education solution – nThrive Education. We are looking for a truly passionate, high-energy individual who brings an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that wants to be challenged each day to make help further our best-in-class strategy and ensure ongoing innovation.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the development roadmap, release management, product segmentation and bundling, library management, client communications and voice of customer market validation, and ensuring standardization of all nThrive Education solutions. This role will collaborate with internal teams to ensure meeting of release and roadmap tollgates and constant process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the President of Education and Analytics, define the product vision and drive the roadmap for our nThrive Education solutions as the product owner of the division
  • Manage our monthly product releases including tollgate management, product features/requirements, resource utilization, and communication to clients and the organization
  • Manage a wide variety and expansive library of education assets including self-paced eLearning courses, assessments, webinars, simulations and labs, animations, and video games
  • Own and manage the product portfolio in our new Education eCommerce Store including product/library management, bundling and mapping, pricing, promotions, and reporting
  • Foster collaboration between our content development, quality assurance, creative, and technical teams as well as working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ throughout the product development and launch lifecycle and constantly look to engage with clients to hear their needs and document the impact of our solution
  • Constantly seek opportunities for improvement in our development and release process through automation, process improvement, and team communication
  • Keep updated on all industry, competitive, and client trends/needs to drive product direction and vision
  • Monitor product usage analytics to determine future needs or enhancements to the current solution
  • Constantly look to innovate the solution through brainstorming, client discussions, whiteboarding, and never being content with where we are. Pushing the limits of what is possible.
  • Be a charismatic evangelist/spokesperson for your product within nThrive and across our clients with the ability to develop compelling presentations/stories to share to leadership
  • Strong eye for UI/UX with high expectations on the professional look and presentation of how our product is viewed, utilized, and consumed
  • Be product owner of our entire healthcare certification and badging program including certification development, course selection, test validation and piloting, and their marketing/communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product management with at least 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • A successful track record of successful product release management in a high-volume production environment.
  • 2+ years of experience developing relationships with clients as an effective spokesperson, creating confidence in a product.
  • Experience in an AGILE/SCRUM environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to find optimal pathways to achieve desired results.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and find opportunities to optimize a development process with a focus on driving innovation. 
  • Excellent communication and product storytelling skills with the ability to persuasively present to internal and external clients at all levels (end users, management, executives, partners, Board)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to identify root causes to problems and develop solutions to eliminate the recurrence. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • This position can be based remotely at a home office or in one of our corporate office locations (Alpharetta, GA or Plano, TX)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in healthcare with a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare delivery, insurance programs, provider billing, patient access, HIM, billing and collections
  • Experience as a product manager for a commercial education product.
  • Experience with Workfront or other content management software
