The VP of IT Operations oversees the execution of regular RFI/RFP/RFQ assessments to enable competitive pricing. Leads negotiation and negotiating teams around contractual terms, pricing, service levels, and services agreements to minimize the Total Cost of Ownership with suppliers. Serves as the business point of accountability for escalation and arbitration for supplier related issues. 


  • Provide oversight of ‘Procure-to-Pay’ program including Ariba system administration, catalog management, policy compliance, and vendor management
  • Works closely with cross functional leads to identify, track, and manage annual spend optimization efforts.
  • Responsible for maintaining internal and third party outsourced operations ensuring controls are performed to sustain the employee travel experience.
  • Oversees program governance (e.g., policies and procedures), system administration via Concur, and American Express Corporate Card program.
  • Establish annual financial and operational targets; deliver monthly progress reports to senior management including YTD financial position.
  • Operational Excellence.
  • Supports CIO in development and execution of long-range plan and high-priority initiatives.
  • Maintains key performance metrics in alignment with strategic objectives set by senior management.
  • Works closely with functional leaders to identify opportunities to drive cost savings and increase efficiency. Support IT group with financial modeling and business case validations.
  • Supports diligence teams in assessing security, regulatory, and operational risks associated with the target environment.
  • Maintains key metrics and financial plans related to the due diligence, integration, and post-close optimizations.


  • 8+ years experience in management as leader at the corporate enterprise level with proven success identifying, planning, implementing, and maintaining large corporate technology infrastructures.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time, as well as the ability to stay focused on key business initiatives.
  • Must be able to work at all levels of the organization from Executive leadership to the staff level.
  • Proven ability to build effective teams and relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Excellent skills in oral and written communications, leadership, supervision and interpersonal relationships.
  • Bachelor Degree, MBA preferred or equivalent industry experience.
  • Travel:   As necessary to fulfill job requirements – estimate up to 25%
