    As a UI/UX Developer, you will work closely with both product and development teams to create and implement high quality graphics, UI elements and designs that will be flexible to support display and interaction across multiple browsers, screen sizes, platforms and devices.


    • Executing UI / UX design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
    • Create responsive designs for both our web-based and mobile application, developing a consistent, professional brand and experience.
    • Create storyboards, wire-frames and mockups, design interactions and flows through the application and assist in creating UI/UX prototypes.
    • Create storyboards to effectively show product usability and workflow.
    • Work closely with product management to design solutions then closely with developers to help them understand requirements as they bring them to life.
    • Research product usability, understand/create personas, and evaluates users’ feedback for implementation.
    • Work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced, while remaining flexible, receptive, and adaptive to change.
    • Collaborating on user experience planning with the product team
    • Presents high fidelity designs/mock-ups to the product team for review/iteration/approval.
    • Creates production ready UI / UX interfaces.
    • Able to explain his/her design philosophy verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to adhere to a defined process of best practices and code formatting requirements.
    • You obsess over details and are excited to polish until your work is perfect.
    • You thrive in an environment with short feedback loops, where we try to make the hard calls to kill bad ideas and nourish the good ones as early as possible.
    • You love to test hypotheses and shepherd your ideas through multiple iterations of validation and development.
    • You love visualizing data.


    • A Masters Degree in Usability Design or equivalent experience.

    • A minimum of 3 years of formal industry/professional experience in software product design, development, and software product launch.
    • Solid portfolio demonstrating design savvy.
    • Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies and the design process.
    • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite CS5/CS6 and at least one other prototyping tool.
    • Design Tools: Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks.
    • Front end Technologies: In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, Javascript, C#, Objective C and Android (Java).
    • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
    • Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
    • Able to integrate UX into Agile development practices.
    • Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, color theory and typography.
    • Solid understanding and experience with principles behind user experience, web navigation, user habits, current design trends, cross-browser and platform compatibility issues.
    • Formal education in interaction design.
    • Travel up to 25% may be required.

    Preferred Skills

    • Background in User Interface design principles.
    • Experience working with Product Managers in developing software UI/UX.
    • Experience in Agile software development preferred.
    • Experience with HTML5, responsive design, and Angular JS preferred.
    • Knowledge of visual design principles including typography, color, and icon development a plus.
