  • Overview

    We're looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. Engineering at nThrive Analytics is comprised of dedicated, innovative, and enthusiastic engineers with diverse backgrounds focused on building scalable products across our platform. We maintain a startup culture of growth and a focus on getting products shipped at scale as we strive to empower health care for every one in every community. 


    • Build and maintain our nThrive Analytics platform, products, and architecture
    • Work with microservices and container-based applications in Kubernetes, deployed in Azure
    • Work with product and design teams to craft engaging user experiences
    • Think deeply about large data sets, user behavior, and engineering great analytics products within our three week
    • Provide technical guidance to teammates as a peer
    • Switch between multiple stacks and languages in a given day
    • Participate in monthly Hack Days
    • Supports nThrive’s Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other laws applicable to nThrive’s business practices. This includes: becoming familiar with nThrive’s Code of Ethics, attending training as required, notifying management or nThrive’s Helpline when there is a compliance concern or incident, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and demonstrable awareness of confidentiality obligations.


    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
    • Strong CS background (data structures, algorithms, etc.)
    • Proficiency with a dynamically-typed language, e.g. PHP, Python, Go, Ruby, js
    • Proficiency with micro-services built in Node.js and front-end React components
    • Proficiency with Docker and working with microservices and container-based applications
    • Solid understanding of data stores such as SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
    • Good understanding of UX flows, cognitive barriers, and cognitive load
    • Strong sense of ownership and autonomy
    • Must be a self-starter and self-leaner and willing to take time to learn new concepts
    • Ability to solve problems at scale within product market constraints
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask among projects
