  • Overview

    The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful management of all aspects of the implementations assigned.  This role supports high-volume, fast-paced implementation activities.  Key focus will be providing high quality implementation with exceptional customer satisfaction through expectation management, proactive communication, and close management of issues/risks.   The individual will lead a cross-functional team including data acquisition consultants, product implementation consultants, technical data analysts, and product trainers.


    • Manage 6-8 external customer implementations, ensuring project deliverables included in the engagement contract are completed timely with customer satisfaction;
    • Achieve revenue targets by accurately forecasting project go-live dates and meeting forecasted completion dates;
    • Proactively set and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders regarding project scope, deliverables, timelines, status reporting, and issues & risks;
    • Establish, socialize, manage, and maintain the project plan with internal and external stakeholders utilizing MS Project;
    • Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality deliverables are completed timely;
    • Accountable for issue and risk identification and facilitation of appropriate resources necessary to resolve issues timely;
    • Manage the acquisition of required data;
    • Provide weekly status reporting to customers, management team, and internal staff;
    • Facilitate smooth transitions from Sales to Implementation and from Implementation to Client Support;
    • Actively participate in the development, implementation, and execution of internal processes and procedures, including usage of segment-wide standard implementation tools and templates;
    • Remain knowledgeable of changes in information technology, healthcare, and revenue cycle management; and
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.
    • Supports nThrive’s Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other laws applicable to nThrive’s business practices. This includes: becoming familiar with nThrive’s Code of Ethics, attending training as required, notifying management or nThrive’s Helpline when there is a compliance concern or incident, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and demonstrable awareness of confidentiality obligations.


    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively present information to top management, key executives, and/or boards of directors; and other client facing roles
    • Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as detail-oriented;
    • Able to prioritize workload and work effectively with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects in a matrix setting
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output; and
    • Is highly skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications, including but not limited to intermediate knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
    • Travel up to 20%.

    Preferred Skills

    • Prior experience with project management and coordination required; PMP certification or PMP studies 
    • Previous experience in hospital revenue cycle operations, consulting, or general finance 
    • Prior experience managing software implementations, preferably healthcare and/or financial packages 
    • Prior experience with direct client / external facing engagements
