  • Overview

    The Disaster Recovery Analyst is responsible for collaboratively executing nThrive’s integrated Business Resiliency Program (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery). This role will coordinate activities with nThrive’s operating units, business continuity planner and third-party infrastructure providers in a complex multi-business, multi-platform IT environment. This includes maintaining the company’s DR methodology as well as providing overall program management, consulting expertise and oversight. 

    Responsibilities

    • Co-Manages the integrated Business Resilience program (BC/DR).
    • Maintains and executes DR frameworks & methodologies.
    • Facilitates the development of DR continuity plans and updates.
    • Collaborates with enterprise teams to schedule and perform periodic DR testing.
    • Conducts Business Impact Analysis (BIA) on systems and applications.
    • Maintains and publishes key performance metrics on the company’s resiliency and recovery posture.
    • Orchestrates R&D activities to investigate new and innovative DR technologies for cloud services.
    • Collaborates with enterprise teams to drive integrated “Master Recovery Plans”.
    • Ensures recovery test results are documented and problem tracking mechanisms in place.
    • Maintains repositories for program methodology, policies, templates, and program materials.
    • Provides ongoing training & awareness across nThrive to share best practices and strengthen executive sponsorship.
    • Supports nThrive’s Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other laws applicable to nThrive’s business practices. This includes: becoming familiar with nThrive’s Code of Ethics, attending training as required, notifying management or nThrive’s Helpline when there is a compliance concern or incident, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and demonstrable awareness of confidentiality obligations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 5+ years of “hands on” experience leading a BC/DR program in a complex multi-business environment.
    • DR experience in cloud technologies.
    • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with strong experience in disaster recovery in a fast-paced multi-company environment.

    Preferred Skills

    • Certification in BC/DR planning (CBCP/MBCP or equivalent)
    • Extended role in other Information Security domains
    • CISSP
    • CCSK/CCSP Cloud Security experience
    • background in manufacturing, supply chain and order to cash business processes.
