Impact you will make

As a Contract QA Specialist, you’ll have a front-row seat to the industry’s transformation from fee-for-service to value-based care. Apply your revenue cycle expertise to this multi-functional role by auditing contract profiles and working production support cases in our best-in-class Contract Management system. The right individual must be accountable and focused while working on a united team with fellow colleagues. He / She must stay nimble and problem-solve under deadlines to deliver the best result to our clients, the first time. The Contract QA Specialist must be able to adapt quickly to an evolving healthcare and technological environment, and to deliver precision, quality and excellence to the nth degree.

 

What you will do

  • Perform research and analyze clients’ production contracts to ensure accuracy of reimbursement
  • Review contract profiles in the audit environment to validate accuracy of rates loaded
  • Thoroughly review account examples to confirm expected reimbursement is correct
  • Train and mentor new team members and Contract Analysts
  • Display initiative to test and validate complicated reimbursement terms and troubleshoot pricing discrepancies with clients and colleagues when needed
  • Identify, document, and communicate best practices within the Contract Management COE
  • Assist with planning short-term business objectives
  • Provide expert advice to management and serve as back-up for manager when needed
  • Communicate with colleagues and customers in a clear and professional manner via phone, email, customer service ticketing systems, and in person
  • Meet or exceed all productivity targets and deadlines for case completion
  • Continue to build upon and grow close client relationships
  • Work independently within assigned tasks to ensure client success
  • Maintain proficiency in application functionality and stay current with industry knowledge
  • Maintain deep knowledge of several Government and Commercial payer reimbursement methodologies

What you will bring

  • 2+ years cumulative experience as a Contract Analyst
  • 2+ years previous customer service experience
  • 2+ years previous healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • Subject matter expert within the FinThrive applications who assists with training and mentoring team members
  • Proven capability of working independently to meet goals and deadlines
  • Able to pose creative solutions to complex problems
  • Highly numerical aptitude with excellent analytical skills and exceedingly detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize several projects at a time
  • Professional presentation and strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills, combined with a customer service attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Travel required: None

 What we would like to see

  • Bachelors degree
  • Previous experience as a Senior Contract Analyst
  • 4+ years previous customer service experience
  • 3+ years previous healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • Basic SQL Query experience a plus
